How to debug the safety light curtain

However, if you want the safety light curtain to really play a role in safety protection, in addition to correctly selecting the model of the safety light curtain, it is also very important to properly install and debug the safety light curtain.
After the installation of the safety light curtain is completed, the device needs to be powered first, and all the indicators of the safety light curtain are not illuminated. Next, you need to use a multimeter to monitor whether the actual voltage of the safety light curtain matches the nominal voltage on the nameplate. If it matches, it proves that the safety light curtain is wired correctly. It should be noted that if the safety light curtain or the safety light curtain controller is connected to AC power, the actual voltage fluctuation range shall not exceed ±15% of the nominal voltage, and if it is DC power, it shall not exceed ±10%.
If the safety light curtain is used with a safety light curtain controller, it is necessary to first turn on the power of the safety light curtain controller, and turn the function switch of the safety light curtain controller to the "protection" position, and then adjust the emission of the safety light curtain. The device and the receiver are in parallel position, and the light-emitting point of the safety light curtain is aligned with the receiving point, and the status light of the safety light curtain should be solid green. In this state, each light beam of the safety light curtain is blocked in turn. When the light beam is blocked, the green light of the safety light curtain or the safety light curtain controller should be extinguished, and the red light is illuminated; after the obstruction is removed, The state before the safety light curtain indicator is restored indicates that the safety light curtain has no problem with the light, the function debugging is normal, and the safety light curtain can be used normally. On the contrary, it indicates that the safety light curtain cannot correctly align the light. In this case, the position of the safety light curtain transmitter and receiver needs to be re-adjusted, and the safety light curtain function is re-tested.
Only when the safety light curtain is properly installed and debugged can the safety light curtain be truly protected and ensure the personal safety of the employees.
